Interstate Unlimited Federal Credit Union was charted in 1968 by a group of employees from Interstate Paper LLC in Riceboro, Georgia. Originally we were only able to serve employees of Interstate Paper LLC and we did so from a shoebox at John and Emma Jean Boatwright's house in Jesup, Georgia.

In 1984 we opened our first office in Jesup, Georgia. Three years later, after a merger with Appling County Citizens Federal Credit Union, we opened an office in Baxley, Georgia. Several years later (1991) we merged again, this time with Wayne County Teachers Credit Union. By 1995, we had opened an office in Riceboro, Georgia at Interstate Paper LLC.

Since then, we have completed construction on three offices. Our main office in Jesup was finished in 2004, followed by the achievement of our Midway office in 2009 and our Baxley office in 2010.

We currently serve over 10,000 members with an asset size of over $70,000,000.
